Figure skater Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya, who participated in a couples competition at the 2018 Olympic Games, died

Professional skater Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya, who took an interest in a couples rivalry at the 2018 Olympic Games, kicked the bucket at 20 years old. 

Global Ski Federation President Jean Dikima gave an announcement about Alexandrovskaya's demise: "The ISU was stunned by the updates on Ekaterina's passing. She was a skilled skater and the creative skating network will miss her. We offer our most profound compassion to her family, companions and associates and grieve this unfortunate misfortune." 

An official reason for death is obscure as of now. 

Harley Windsor, who has been a ski accomplice in Alexandrovskaya since 2016 until their partition not long ago, shared a post on Instagram. 

"Words can't depict how I feel at this moment. I feel pulverization and illness at the core of my heart with respect to the abrupt and unexpected takeoff of Katya. This news is something I can't plan for. Find happiness in the hereafter Katya." 

Alexandrovskaya and Windsor qualified for the 2018 Winter Olympics with third spot in the CS Nebelhorn Trophy in September 2017. They completed eighteenth in a sets challenge at the PyeongChang Games.
